Print jobs can be rejected for a number of reasons. The most common ones are invalid URLs to your interior/cover files, issues with the interior/cover file PDFs, incorrect SKU/Pod Package, and failed to find selected shipping option.


When we reject a print job we will list the rejection reason under the Print Jobs details page.



Invalid Interior/Cover URL




This is one of many examples of what you might see. Please check the URLs you are providing with the print request. Interior and cover files have to be specified with an accessible URL from which Lulu can download the files.



PDF Error





When you see this error that means there is an issue with your PDF file and we cannot complete our normalization process. We recommend creating a support ticket so that we can take a look at your PDF file and let you know what is wrong.


Note: It is possible that there was a communication error when Lulu tried to access the PDF file resulting in Lulu not downloading the PDF file correctly. If that is the case, then we recommend that you submit the print request again.



Incorrect SKU/Pod Package





When you see this error that means that the page size of the PDF does not match the Pod Package ID you provided when you sent us the print request. First make sure that the PDF file is formatted to the correct page size, then check to make sure that the Pod Package ID is correct.



Failed to Find Shipping Option





When you see this error that means the shipping method you provided in your print request is not available. That could mean that the order is too large to ship via that option or that option is just not available to the shipping destination.
